WOW!Did you know the happy meal they serve kids today was the actual meal that adults ordered when McDonald's first opened? CRAZY!

Sometimes eat my food on a saucer so it seems like more or I fill the empty spaces with fruits and veggies...sometimes ;-)

Thanks for sharing.

Very interesting video. It's crazy how our perception of standard portion sizes have become exacerbated over the years. I purposely eat off of salad plates with my entrees to get a better scope of serving sizes and "half" the servings they give me in restaurants. There's no denying the weight/portion correlation.

Man, it's the truth though. My grandma has HUGE plates and I can pack some food on to them (healthy or not).

No matter what anyone says, portion control has gone out the window.

wow that is absolutely insane. When I was little if I didn't finish my food I always got in trouble especially at my grandparents house, and her portions were always insanely large. It's crazy how things change.

xo

So glad you added this video. In the past few months I've been using our lunch plates 8 1'2 inches to eat my meals from. I've been wondering if I'm being silly. After watching this, I'm keeping up that practice.
