How Low Can You Go

WTF?

>> Thursday, June 2, 2011

Stepped on the scale this morning; it has been awhile and it said 221, what the eff?  Guess I really got to focus.  Running a half marathon really means anything when it comes to the scale.  I wish there was some magic that because I ran a 21K I could have an instant slammin' body, but unfortunately the world does not work that way *sigh*

If I could run like you I wouldn’t give a good Goddamn what that scale says. You are focused and you are getting it in. Keep going and that weight WILL fall off Haneefa.
Your my running SHE-ro 21K...Gaaawwwwww that’s an accomplishment in itself :_)

I co-sign everything Ro said. Matter of fact, I'm not weighing in again till Dec. Keep on track and you will see some def. changes.

@Dee--I feel like I have to weigh regularly or things get out of control, this is a perfect example. I thought that I was doing so well and then I steeped on the scale and cried

I am sorry for what the scale says. Maybe instead of weighing all the time. . . once a week or monthly. DO you track your food...?

Girl the Scale is a cruel cruel tool! I have a love hate relationship. I'm like you I get on it just to see where I'm at, to see if what I'm doing is working! Sometimes you just have to shock your body....try eating clean meaning, veggies, fruits lean meats like fish or chicken (Yeah Basically as if your dieting) for a week, instead of weight lifting at the gym try a Yoga or Pilates class...you have to shake this shit up!!! I'm rooting for you Hun!!!

Hey Chica! Do you update your measurements pretty regularly? I need to be better about do that...but I will say that when I worked with my trainer she would measure me every two weeks or so...I would see progress even if I didn't see as much with the scale...Even when I didn't necessarily see it in the mirror or in clothes...

I'm not very happy with the scale right now either....I can so relate. I've wanted to kick it lately...
