How Low Can You Go

Just Because...

Hello Bloggers!
Things are going a bit better in this corner of the world. I am recommitted to my life and I am taking the proverbial bull by the horns.  In the back of my mind I always have that under 200 goal in my head and I am hoping that one day I can reach it.  Yesterday, I went HARD at the gym; 35 minutes of cardio, 35 minutes of weights, then i went to Running Room and did a group run.  We were tackling hills and we ended up doing almost 6 km.
As per usual road blacks stand in my way, after work today we are going for Indian and this weekend is Canadian Thanksgiving.  Pray for me.

Great job getting back on track! I totally agree with your affirmation today. It really does add up :)

just wanted to say, i like reading your blog bc you are so committed to working out it's crazy. The races you run inspire me because it is a struggle for me to run a mile so clearly you must be fit.
The thing is, you clearly don't eat well. You might feel like you do but even the once in a whiles you say "it's a celebration so i don't feel bad etc etc" is insight to that. Oh and also, the scale doesn't lie... i mean it's not the whole story but there's no way a person works out as long as you do for such an extended period of time and won't lose weight.

Case in point. My friend is a bodypump, body step and body attack instructor. She teaches about 7-8 classes a week bc she is always subbing for people. CRAZY fit and strong...but she never looked it. she didn't look fat but she didn't look like someone you'd say worked out a lot. weighed about 190 (although coz of all the muscle she looked about 175 to me).
Anyway, someone challenged her to follow a eating plan a nutritionist had created. She did..6 weeks late she has lost 20lbs. Her body was clearly rushing to get rid of weight she was not meant to carry.

Bottom line, you CAN NOT outtrain bad nutrition....especially once you get older and your metabolism slows down.

Your affirmation is so on point. All the best with everything.
