Sway, sway
>> Monday, May 19, 2014
In Arabic 'sway, sway' is an expression that means, slowly, slowly. That is how I feel about my weight loss right now. I have been workout hard, eating well and things are at a standstill. I am going to keep pushing because I know that the plateau has to break eventually. I may have to go back to juicing for a week. That usually helps.
Sigh.

You know I can really understand that. I've tried to lose weight off and on multiple times because I've always been overweight. Each time I have tried thus far, I hit that plateau and I cave. I let doubt, impatience, annoyance, etc drive me right back into foods arms. I'm just now starting back up again and like you I'm blogging, hoping it will hold me more accountable to stick it through.
I know you can do it, break through that plateau and don't let it stop you!
Ugh. Plateaus are the WORST. It happens to everyone. Keep doing what you do, I'm sure it will yield results!
Consider a large dry erase calendar. Write motivating words in difrnt colors and circle in red the days you don't workout. Five red circles in 30 days mean you must give away $20 to a stranger, without an explanation, or an article of clothing.
I hope that helps. Happy to have found your site. USA California.
