How Low Can You Go

These Boots Are Made For Walking

>> Friday, November 8, 2013

Went for a walk a few weeks ago and was followed in a car for about 5 minutes. The guy was trying to talk to me and even pulled his car in front if me so that I couldn't walk. I started to freak out, because I was thinking what if he follows me all the way home? After this incident I stopped walking for a week. I realized that I cannot let some pervy guy stop me from living my life.  I went back out last Wednesday as well is this morning.

Take that perverts!!!

You can never be too careful but definitely don't let him stop you from running.

I run fairly regularly so the SAME white service truck would honk when they passed me by. After a few times, I memorized their license plates and gave it to my boyfriend. I'm paranoid like that. I also make sure I don't turn into my neighborhood when they are in the vicinity. I listen to music but I'm always aware of my surroundings.

Great job on your run!

There are some real weirdo's out there!

You guys wanna do Brazilian jiu jitsu, it's great exercise and it's also great for the ladies, as it can help you defend yourself and gives you more confidence :)

That's surely not fun to "meet" such people. Maybe you would feel safer if you could walk together with somebody else- a friend, a neighbor? Kudos for managing to put the fear away!

That's horrible to hear, There are some very strange people around, but don't let it stop what you love, just make sure to carry a Taser with you next time :-) :-). Good to know you are back to doing what you enjoy good on you sister!

Yikes. Make sure you call that stuff in. Reports add up sometimes. Also if you can walk with a friend. Safety in numbers!

That's definitely very weird! Glad you haven't let it stop you from running though. Perhaps try a different route? I tend to run in a park where a lot of morning joggers are so it isn't so secluded. Although I do like being by myself too just to enjoy the cool breeze alone!

That's creepy as hell! I would have freaked out too, but you are right. You can't let the pervs and freaks out there stop you from living your life and doing things. Keep going and maybe carry some pepper spray i your pocket? lol

That's crazy! What's wrong with people that a person can't even go out for some fresh air and exercise without being harassed by some freak pervert. On the other hand, having a dog or a friend with you when you go out for a run or walk is a good idea in this day and age. You just never know.
