I Am Concentrating on Top Priorities
>> Tuesday, November 22, 2011
I know that I can use a little positivity in my life today. I stepped on the scale and almost cried, to the point that I had to step on again and then again. 223. Up 6 pounds from last week. I don't know what to say, writing this just makes me angry, sad, hopeless. I don't know what to do anymore, I am trying and I am failing.

Hey, If you want to be email buddies we can. I think you can sooo do it. You are just letting some small things get in the way.
Don't give up. You know how to do this weight loss thing. Today's a new day and you know what you have to do. Hang in there.
You can do this! It gets discouraging when the scale doesnt move and you know that you are doing all that you can..I have been there. Frankly its not always about the scale, its about doing what's necessary to get healthy. Despite what the scales says, you are probably in the best shape of your life when you consider where you were when you first began. All this we are all doing is a process--there will be setbacks, but the show must go on. DONT QUIT!
Don't beat yourself up! You've lost 20lbs so far...that's an amazing accomplishment.
From what I've read on your blog you seem to have a lot of irons in the fire. Maybe you're spread too thin.
I've recently had to take an honest accounting of what I'm eating and why I'm not seeing the results I'd like. Fundamentally it's all about calories in and calories out. If you track what you eat, the weight will come off.
This is not a good feeling and you need to go through it to move past it! Keep your head up! You're awesome chick...keep loving yourself despite what the scale says. Consider removing the scale from your house for a month and see what happens :-)
Oh...sister! I am feeling ya on this post. This journey can be frustrating and hard sometimes...Keep on pushing!
Big hugs to you!
Have you thought about spending a week writing down everything you're eating and also writing down the workouts you're doing to see what might need changing?
Sometimes I find this helps me if I am finding it tough.
There's a couple of challenges i'm taking part in over the next month from other peoples blogs. Maybe it's worth checking them out?
I have absolutely no doubt you can do it. That number is one thing...your fitness and overall health is another. Your workout ethic and running progress has been SO inspiring to me. It has helped me to get going and stick to my workout goals (i.e. if Miss Haneefa do two or more workouts in the same day, the least I can do is get my behind on this elliptical! lol). You got this!
Hello, my name is Danielle, I have recently started reading your blog. I too, am trying to lose weight, and I know how you feel, I have been there many times. But remember what your goal is! There will be bad weeks, but your hard work will pay off!
