The Bikini
>> Wednesday, March 7, 2012
As you know I am leaving for Panama on Saturday. I went to look for a bathing suit. I found a nice bikini that actually fit. With my large breasts it is hard to find a top that fits in any bathing suit, one or two piece. This one was nice, but I couldn't do it. It is the stretch marks that kill me. My child birth stomach ( note- I have no children)looked no bueno. I looked at myself and all I can think is that no one on the beach wants to see this. On one hand I am happy that I have made progress and I looked ok, but on the other hand I just couldn't do it. Maybe if I was the only one on the beach...

I hope you have a BLAST in panama. I know you've been working out in preparation for it. Enjoy your hard work.
I remember being petrified the first time ever putting on a bikini and I still am scared but I realize that no body is PERFECT. Even models have to be photoshopped :P
Have a blast!
I bet you looked beautiful, we are our own harshest critics. That said, I do not wear bikinis, I have a one piece and honestly I think they're much better looking on anyone. The only thing I envy is the tan bikini wearers get. Panama is going to be such a blast for you and I can't wait to hear about it. Best that you're comfortable anyways, if you're not comfortable in your baithing suit it might hold you back from all of the wonderful fun things you can do!
OMG Panama is here! Have a great time!
We are our worst critics. I will say this, I probably won't ever wear a bikini (b/c of the road map of stretch marks from Mexico to Canada on my stomach) but if I were, I would do it in another country. For some reason I feel free when I'm away in the islands and I can imagine I would probably feelthe same way in Panama.
If you looked good in the bikini, I say get it and wear a sheer cover up over it. Now that is still cute while covering up your imperfections!
Perhaps you could buy it and use it as a goal for the summer.
I actually was thinking similar to what Chi Chi was thinking...What about a cute sheer coverup to wear over it or perhaps a high waisted sarong?
Have fun, Chica!
Girl, I know all about the stretch marks. (All too well) I know that no matter how small I get, a bikini is not in my future. It's all one pieces from here on out.
I'm sure you'll have fun no matter what you wear. Panama sounds like a blast.
To buy and wear a bikini is a huge step. Maybe you're just not ready but remember one day you will be :D
Have a fantastic time no matter what...happiness come from within :D
I understand I have always been endowed but I got my fav swimsuit with underwire. And it gives me the best shape and makes it look like I have lost even more weight. Love the blog just started my own at angelalovinlife so cool reading other peoples successes
LOL you are too funny!! I hope you have a great time!! :-)
I wish you the time of your life in Panama and I just want to take the time to applaud you for your success at this weight loss game. It's hard! It's not easy putting on a bikini but you do it girl! That's major in my book ;)

I know what you mean about the stomach. U should see mine (stretchmarks and all). I just hope that my body still has some elasticity by the time I'm done losing weight.
However, life is too short to worry about certain issues. If you can't wear a two-piece, u can definitely rock a one piece. :-)
